 I am getting the following error message when trying to connect to my
 Google Talk account via Pidgin:
 "Server does not use any supported authentication method"

 I am using Pidgin v2.2.0 for Windows
 My configuration for Google Talk is as follows:
 Protocol: XMPP
 Screen name: <...>
 Domain: gmail.com
 Resource: Home

 Connect port: 5222
 Connect server: talk.google.com
 Proxy Type: No Proxy

 Also, I tried checking various combinations of "Require SSL/TLS", "Force
 old (port 5223) SSL" & "Allow plaintext autho over unencrypted streams",
 but no success either.

 Is there something wrong with my config? Am I overlooking something?
