 I really don't think people find this all that confusing - if people can
 figure out how to add accounts, I think they can figure out which account
 to add them to.

 I don't particularly like how this would treat something like adding a MSN
 buddy to a yahoo account (or vice versa) - Pidgin doesn't handle this
 currently, but I think this approach is backward for that.  I still think
 you should choose the account (and therefore protocol) first, then choose
 which parameters to use to add the buddy (one of these being the "sub-
 protocol" when the account supports such a concept.
