Comment:

 I'm not completely opposed to this, but I don't think it's going to be a
 priority for me to develop. You could hack around this by setting the
 permissions on the appropriate account folder in ~/.purple/logs to 000.
 You'll get errors at the start of conversations about being unable to
 create logs, though.
