 When I connect to work via a VPN, Pidgin loses its connection. I have
 installed Windows Live Messenger and it is able to handle being connected
 to a VPN.

 I have tried all of the different settings I can in the proxy settings
 page, but with no luck.

 The instant I disconnect from my VPN connection, Pidgin returns to normal
 and connects perfectly.
