 The Yahoo servers keep an 'Address Book' and a 'Buddy List'.  When a buddy
 is deleted from your Buddy List using the YIM client, you have the choice
 of keeping or deleting them from your Address Book.  Pidgin leaves them in
 your Address Book by default and these are the aliases you see with the
 'Bizarre' prefix.  When the new 'save aliases to yahoo server'
 functionality was written, I was confused by these 'orphaned' aliases
 arriving.  Bizarre may have been a bad choice of word  :)
