#5382: Right-click behavior on status-icon in notification area differs from
"standard"

I use Pidgin 2.4.1 in Gnome 2.22 on Fedora Rawhide (the unstable version
of Fedora). I have several applications in my notification area, e.g.
Liferea, the Beagle-search, NetworkManager, Pidgin. If I right-click on
any of these icons (except Pidgin), the context menu for that application
comes up immediately without releasing the right mouse button again.
Moving the mouse over "Quit" and releasing the button then is like a click
on that item and the application quits.
Moving the mouse outside the context menu and releasing the button then
makes the context menu disappear again.
Not moving the mouse and releasing the button then displays the menu and
the user can choose and click an item in the menu.
Pidgin, however, shows the context menu only after releasing the right
mouse button, making it behave differently from all other programs.
I do not know about GUI guidelines for that behavior but one way or the
other, the behavior is inconsistent.
