Comment:

 Where would you want/expect to see the graphical smiley? We don't
 currently do that, to the best of my knowledge, in the buddy list, in the
 tooltip, or in the conversation window infopane (and I'm not sure I think
 we should start doing it in any of those places). So which of those
 locations are you wanting this to happen?
