 I just tried to check whether drJeckyll's fix would apply to me too.
 Trying to find the line I found out the manualsize.c has changed since I
 last built it. So I re-built it for Windows, keeping the line
 "gtk_widget_grab..." intact, and the focus now works for me on Win XP and
 Win Vista. drJeckyll, which OS are you using?
