 Two comments. One, the removal of the options in that plugin does not make
 it impossible (all it does is remove the interface for doing it). Two, had
 you saved the settings to the gtkrc file the settings would have continued
 to work regardless of the plugin interface changes (and even if you were
 to unload the plugin entirely). The entire point of the plugin was
 supposed to be a introduction to gtkrc settings made easy (which is why I
 added the 'write settings to gtkrc file' button in the first place).
