 ctrl-f doesn't find in the buddy list (not for me at least), and the type-
 ahead find is a GTK+ feature that we take advantage of (and is growing
 more and more common in applications). I am unaware of any bug for such an
 addition but you are as capable of searching the tickets as I am to try to
 find one.
