 I am still experiencing this bug on 2.4.1 under linux.  I set a buddy
 icon, pidgin displays the icon in the buddy list and everything looks fine
 -- but if I log into another Gmail account and look at the status of my
 pidgin account, I see the generic Gmail icon, not the one I've set.

 I'm not used to the Trac system -- can this ticket be reopened, or should
 I submit a new ticket?
