 Figured the scrap of code needed to be able to sort by shortcut by myself:
 just insert
 {{{
 gtk_tree_view_column_set_sort_column_id(column,
                                         SHORTCUT);
 }}}
 under the "/* Shortcut */" section into the "Smiley Manager"part of
 gtksmiley.c . Easy and sound. :P
