 Nope! They don't have to code a goddamn thing, that's already been done.
 They just need to quit being assholes, and learn that despite their
 assertions to the contrary, the users are actually the most important part
 of open source, ''especially'' the users who are motivated to contribute,
 and that ignoring them spells death.

 However, I don't think any of the devs are likely to realize that, so I'll
 say again that what they really need to do is ''retire''. Disband the
 secret cabal and let the maintainership pass into the hands of people who
 actually have an interest in improving the product, without the trouble of
 forking.
