 hm, i just uploaded a patch that i googled up (on some Nabble forum or
 mailinglist or whatever it is). i tried the patch with pidgin 2.4.0, but
 it did not work.

 maybe some programmer souls out there could further develop this piece of
 work that we could enjoy the xstatuses :)
