 By using MSN progran, I set an alias a few months ago (alias 1) and then I
 started using Pidgin.

 I know that the alias stored in the server and displayed to contacts is
 the one set by MSN program. But the problem is that later I changed the
 alias in the server by using MSN program (alias 2, alias 3, ...) and every
 time I log in my MSN account with Pidgin (no matter from which computer),
 it still displays alias 1 to contacts. However, if I log in the same MSN
 account with MSN program, I see the last alias but not alias 1.

 The conclusion is that I can't change alias 1 if I want to use Pidgin.
