 Yes, I'm sure that I'm using the same encoding as the person I'm talking
 to, because Italked with the man, who uses qip 2005 build 8050, through
 pidgin 2.4.0 and recieved correct messages in russian, then I downloaded,
 installed and started version 2.4.1, and messages from that guy became
 ununderstandable.
