 Hi. I've been looking all over this website for a guide that could help me
 with this problem, but I couldn't find any. I tried Google also, but to no
 avail either.

 The problem is, everytime I launch Pidgin and try to connect to the IRC
 server, it always says "xxxxxxxxx at rizon.net disconnected: Server has
 disconnected". Sometimes, I am able to connect to IRC, but to be able to
 do that I usually have to enable/disable my account many times. I don't
 think my firewall, ZoneAlarm, has anything to do with it: I wasn't able to
 connect even with the firewall turned off, and only once I was able to
 connect with it turned on.

 Proxy type: Use Global Proxy Settings[[BR]][[BR]]

 I use Pidgin a lot for IRC, and this problem has proved to be a nuisance
 to me. I love Pidgin and the reason why I've stuck with it for so long is
 that I think it's the best out there, but if I don't find any solution to
 this problem I'm afraid I will be forced to find another more
 accommodating chat client.

 Can someone help me with this? Am I doing anything wrong? I would really
 appreciate it! Thanks. :)
