 UNIX users can use symbolic links to change the logging location.  Windows
 users can use NTFS junction points if they are brave enough or simply
 change the location of .purple by defining the `PURPLE_HOME` environment
 variable as explained in the FAQ.

 We have no desire to make the logging location directly customizable.
