 OK. . . I'm sorry. I did not make my point clear. I think I may have
 reacted to aggressively before. I will give Ron Paul the benefit of the
 doubt, but that still does not change the fact that this is a forum for
 the development of Pidgin. Unlike bug #1 in Ubuntu, which states the goal
 of the Ubuntu distribution to overtake windows in market share, this bug
 does not seem to indicate any sort of goal for the improvement and
 betterment of my favorite Instant Messaging client. The point is that the
 political discussion here is irrelevant. Many people want to vote for Ron
 Paul, and many people don't, but this is not a forum for political
 discussion, and therefore this bug should be removed.
