 Hi,

 I tried to search for a related issue, but I couldn't find anything. My
 fiance is using v2.2 for XP and all of a sudden when she would start her
 laptop the taskbar icon with her previous away status would be there, but
 no Buddy List would pop up. There is no response when clicked on, either
 left or right click. The task manager shows that pidgin.exe is running 99%
 of the cpu, yet nothing happens, even after 10 mins of waiting. I tried
 upgrading to the latest version, and the same problem is occuring. I
 uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version and still the same problem
 is happening, and her same away status is there. I uninstalled, ran a
 registry cleaner, then reinstalled and the same problem with the same away
 status is there. I honestly don't know what to try next. Is she the first
 person to encounter this?
