 still not fixed in 2.4.1 (ubuntu hardy). tooltips are too big,annoying and
 most fo time unnecessary. perhaps it would be better to add right-click
 menu item to show this sort of informations ... or at least add chceckbox
 to configuration dialog to enable/disable tooltips.
