 Not completely sure, but:
 I think this is because we calculate the checksum wrong. There's a
 checksum for the buddy icons, and we use g_str_hash to calculate it
 because I don't know the right way to calculate it. I suspect that Yahoo
 used to not care, but now does care. This would be a simple fix iif you
 could figure out the checksum algorithm they use. I don't know if it's
 something standard or something they made up.

 I wonder if any other clients do it right.
