 The current version of pidgin has a serious leak.  I noticed pidgin was
 up to 580M on my system a few days after the last reboot.  I installed
 the latest 2.4.1 and restarted, and after 1 day it's up to 124M

 There has been ZERO human interaction by pidgin during this time, only
 routine status maintenance for about 5 IM accounts.
