 Just upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 and noticed the controversial 2-line input
 box. I understand the new UI feature; the only problem is:

 1) It is hard to locate in my desktop where I am typing
 2) It is hard to click on the region to type, given that I am doing many
 things at once

 Solution to both problems: keep the 2 line box. Just make some whitespace
 around it to increase the apparent area. This lets me click easily, and i
 can see a larger box. It wont change any behavior, and solves the issue
 overall.
