 I thought Pidgin (gaim at the time) was unique and innovative for having a
 different typing indicator among other things, I sure hope this habit and
 behavior of mimicking other clients to the point of removing useful and
 desirable features that a huge part of the user base is asking in some
 cases begging for, will not continue, because once pidgin becomes just
 like every other client then why even bother?
