 I have no idea what 'Multiprotocol' is capable of or even what it is. If
 gmx.com is a normal XMPP service then adding an XMPP account to pidgin
 with a Screen name of your gmx username and a Domain of gmx.com should
 Just Work. If it doesn't then you need to talk to the gmx.com people to
 see if they actually offer an XMPP service and if they do what
 port/settings you need for your XMPP client.
