Comment:

 You shouldn't need to change your resolution to move the window, alt-space
 M <arrow> <mouse> should work just fine. (Yeah, I to this day have no idea
 why Windows requires a key press before letting the mouse work for that
 but that's just how it is.)

 Is the dialog appearing on top of other windows or is it always appearing
 in the same location (having nothing to do and being unrelated to the
 location of your pidgin windows)?
