 This seems to be similar to what was described in ticket 4581, although
 version is different (2.4.3) and I don't get crashes.  But every time I
 start pidgin, I get 8 authorization requests which I have to deny one at a
 time.  It seems that they are always on the Yahoo component.  It is very
 annoying to have to waste my time denying these requests.  They seem to be
 from bogus users with gobbledegook names.  How do I put an end to this?
