 thanks for help. yes and i changed the log directory to my own msn history
 directory but still saw nothing. and also in the log directory there are
 only options for the five major IMs, what if I want to see old QQ history
 in Pidgin? maybe i didn't find the best website for Pidgin plugins...

 besides this, Pidgin works pretty good. thanks.
