 Any time Pidgin starts up (or when I disconnect and re-connect to AIM), I
 get the error dialogue box:

  "Unable to send message to AIM:
 Not logged in."

 I believe I am able to communicate with others on AIM, but there are so
 few people, I don't have anyone to it test with.

 I originally thought there was an outstanding "buddy pounce", but there
 aren't any.

 If I disable AIM, the error does not happen.
