 I'm also experiencing this problem on one of my accounts. I've got two MSN
 accounts in Pidgin, one Hotmail account and one that is just a Passport
 account. The Hotmail account is the one with the problem "a buddy couldn't
 be added unknown error (205)" upon connection. After the error is
 displayed Pidgin enters an eternal "Connecting..." phase until the
 offending account is disabled.

 I'm running 32-bit Ubuntu 8.04 with Pidgin 2.5.0 and the error started
 after upgrading to Pidgin 2.5.0.

 My apologies for uploading two debug-logs. This is my first time with Trac
 and it kept throwing me some errors during the upload phase.
