 I'm guessing that as Adium uses libpurple for the protocol backend, Adium
 will only be as up to date as what ever libpurple it uses.

 Checking the AdiumX site, the latest Adium release is Version 1.2.7
 (7/4/2008) - which means it uses an older version of libpurple which in
 turn implemented an older version of the MSN protocol (and didn't show the
 groups).

 Hence, when Adium does a new release (using the latest libpurple), Adium
 users will see this issue too...unless the Adium front end (buddy list)
 hides these two groups.
