 You have misunderstood the situation. The minimizing bug is only a bug in
 very old versions of GTK+, a bug which the GTK+ people have since fixed.
 Unfortunately the newer versions of GTK+ have another bug, the type-ahead
 find bug, and that bug has not yet been fixed in a GTK+ release. When
 there is a fixed GTK+ release we will use it and both bugs will be fixed
 for pidgin.
