 After receiving an link such as http://www.google.com, the link is
 highlighted and able to be clicked as usual. Upon clicking, Pidgin
 interprets it as opening only 'www.google.com' where Windows then asks
 which program with which to open the link. Longer URLs such as
 http://www.linux.com/articles/feature/ have further issues. When clicked,
 Windows cannot interpret the command and gives a "Windows cannot open this
 file: File: feature/" error. Screenshots attached.
