 I noted that another user created the ticket 6808.  I could not find it so
 maybe it has been closed.

 I'm experiencing the same issue.  Every time I login to pidgin 4 pop-up
 windows display [one for each msn buddy with an issue] that states "Buddy
 list synchronization issue in alisonayun at aol.com (MSN)

 xxxx.xxxx at somewhere.com on the local list is inside the group "Friends"
 but not on the server list. Do you want this buddy to be added?"  I click
 the yes button for all four users and they display as offline within
 pidgin.  If I login to Windows Live Messenger [MSN] they should up fine
 and online.  This only started happening with the 2.5.0 release.  It is
 such a pain that I would really like to be able to revert back to the last
 version until this issue is fixed.  I now have to have two IMs open.  Any
 help you may be able to provide would be great.  Thanks!  Alison
