 I have set up IRC channels to automatically connect upon start-up of
 Pidgin 2.5 on Win32.

 It creates the usual IRC server messages (re. you are now logged on as "my
 nick" (whatever nick) each in its own message window/tab.
 If these messages stay unread and I close the message window where they
 are displayed (each as a separate tab) without 1st clicking their
 respective tabs (as if to read them) Pidgin crashes every time.

 So, it is pretty inconvenient.

 I have un-installed 2.5 and just installed 2.5 debug and will post the rpt
 as soon as I can.
