 In Pidgin 2.5.0 on Windows XP, when I add a buddy, a dialog box pops up
 asking for alias and group.  If I leave the group blank (it does not
 default to anything), the program crashes.  If I select an alias and a
 group, it works fine.

 We are using OpenFire as our chat server.
