Comment:

 Please get the Debug Window output of pidgin failing to connect (and if
 possible similar XML console output of kopete successfully connecting).
 Please use a dummy account with a dummy password as it will be in the
 pidgin debug output in some form and we wouldn't want anything important
 being visible. Alternatively you could sanitize the input, but as it can
 show up base64 encoded and whatnot some people miss it.
