Comment:

 Yes, still an issue in 2.5.0. Sorry, I wasn't clear at all, this is in the
 Status/Idle tab, under "Status at startup." I verified on Debian Etch
 currently. Making an away message with an extremely long title will widen
 the Preferences window to the full width of my screen.
