Comment(by soulcheck):

 I.e. if i have the same contact as gtalk buddy and gadu-gadu buddy gtalk
 icon gets invisible by default, which may or may be not what user wants to
 happen.

 Maybe it could be an option to choose which buddy's icon should be used.
