 There ''is'' a way to get rid of such status in Linux. Quit Pidgin. Go to
 /home/<your account>/.purple. Find the status.xml file. Use any text
 editor to open it and delete the unwanted status between and including
 <status name...> and </status>. Restart Pidgin.
