 I don't get the "work around".  I did not see any option in the trouble
 contacts that allowed me to "the box for "Use this address with Windows
 Live Messenger"".  We were supposed to login to web messenger, right?
 Then hit address book, which brings us to our inbox, and then we click
 contact list, and there is no such check box as "Use this address with
 Windows Live Messenger" that I can see.

 Screen shots anyone?  Better instructions?

 I deleted and re-added my contact in both my pidgin and online and that
 seemed to solve it (but I don't see the trouble contact now, maybe he has
 to re-add me).
