 Isn't Pidgin one of the only windows IM clients that DOESN'T do something
 useful on a single click?

 If we are going to compair just any tray apps, here is the list on the
 current spare laptop I am using today under windows XP.

 Outlook 2003 - Context menu
 java update - Dialog
 Virusscan - nothing
 Windows Wireless - Dialog
 Windows update - Dialog
 Sound - Volume Dialog
 Safely remove Hardware - Context
 Intel Wireless - Context

 1/8 do nothing on a single click.
