 Hi,

 I'm using a 2.5.2 version of Pidgin that I build myself on Debian Lenny.

 I am using an XMPP account and I notices that I were unable to change the
 alias of someone who has been or is "away" since the begining of the
 session.
 I choose "Alias..." after right-clicking on the contact and it has
 absolutely no effect. It works like a charm if the contact has never been
 away during the session.
