 I've ben hanging on to 2.4.3 because of this. As I see it, buddies in my
 MSN list with a mobile number associated with it are shown as online,
 whether they are online or not. I guess that this wasn't chosen by the
 devs as a special feature, so it seems that somewhere in the MSN protocol,
 buddies with a mobile number associated are shown as online. It is
 certainly the case that I can send a message using MSN to a buddy's
 mobile, even if they are offline. In MSN (I just had to install it so I
 could fire it up), those buddies show as online too. I guess thet devs
 have to be able to ignore this kind of online and try to get to the online
 that means that they are sitting at their computer.

 Sorry if this repeats a lot. It wasn't clear to me that the problem was
 being attacked directly. Simply hiding mobile contacts doesn't tell me if
 a buddy is at their computer any more than always showing them.
