 A default type of 'message' is an insane default because it is absolutely
 invalid and as such a bug should be filed against sendxmpp. In a quick
 read of the bis draft rfc I'm unsure that the text is supposed to mean
 that invalid type attributes are to be assumed to be equivalent to a non-
 existant type or whether valid types that are not understood (for example
 the client doesn't support groupchat or headline messages) are to be
 understood as normal messages. I don't think doing this will hurt anything
 so it should probably be made, but I'm going to check what the intention
 of the text in the rfc was just to satisfy my curiosity.
