 As a potential work around for those who don't know how to apply a patch
 (like me), I've found that it tends not to crash if you set all accounts
 to offline before you exit Pidgin. If the problem is somehow network or
 connection related, then it seems to be a sensible (if slightly annoying)
 way to avoid the program hang until 2.5.4 is released.
