 I know little about GTK, or GUI programming in general for that matter,
 but yeah...

 It seems whenever I try to close Pidgin (at least on my windows machine),
 the main window stays & halts long after the at least tray icon goes.  It
 could be some long latency or something, I've always manually killed it
 after the first 15 seconds.

 If it makes any difference, protocols I use are:  AIM, MSN, YIM,
 MyspaceIM, & IRC.
