 Hi,

I use for the moment only MSN account w. Pidgin.
At start up it crashes all the time, but if I set the log in to off-line
then it doesn't crash, but then Pidgin is useless of course in this state.

I have tried to install Pidgin 2.5.3 both on my computer and USB stick,
the USB stick is where I want it on.

I have currently 2.1.1 on my USB stick and it works perfect all the time.

With 2.5.3 I have tried .exe & .ZIP & debug version on both HD and USB
 memory(except debug..) and all crashes.

I have tried to disable all plugins by remaining the Plugins folder that
came with the installation under the Pidgin/Plugins folder, note I have
not added any additional plugins here. It kind of helped but made Pidgin
lame, and when I closed Pidgin it freezes.

The debug version don't even create prefs.xml, I couldnt find it, anyhow
renaming for the exe and zip doesn't help.

One thing I discovered was by doing a quick and dirty test was to copy ALL
DLL files from Pidgin/Plugins 2.1.1 into 2.5.3 and so the start-up crash
didn't occur, but when closing it freezes as in the example above by
 renaming the Plugin folder.

Its 5 AM in the morning so I have spent several hours so I will not try to
rename each DLL file for this time, but sure is, one or several of the DLL
files in 2.5.3 are not working.
