 Just searched existing tickets and found similar issues, but none seemed
 to match exactly.

 When I try to connect to AIM via Pidgin, I get the following error:

 Could not connect to authentication server: Connection refused.

 This started within the past two weeks.  I can still login using the
 actual AIM client, and I checked my firewall and it permits Pidgin to
 access the net, so I tried turning off my firewall to make sure, and
 Pidgin still couldn't log me into AIM.  Here's the debug from the latest
 fail:

 ...copying/pasting the text didnt work so well, so im attaching it in file
 form.

 Any clues?  Anyone else having this problem?
